Pythagoras Theorem

A Simple Way to Generate Pythagorean Numbers

I dedicate this article to my former math teacher Mr. Leong Wei Ching who taught me Add Math in 1970.
This is useful for extra illustration on squaring and factoring algebraic expression.

Infinity is NOT a Number

a^0 = 1 when a is not zero - An explanation

2 x 3 = 6 so 2 = 6/3
2 x 0 = 0 so 2 = 0/0
3 x 0 = 0 so 3 = 0/0
Therefore 2 = 3
In this article 1 divided by zero is not number.

Some Infinity is Larger

One to One Functions and Infinity

This article is an extension of an earlier article on one to one functions. I believe you may be similarly inspired like me by the book Journey Through Genius by William Dunham.

One to One Functions

An Interesting Application of One to One Functions

It is usually not interesting to learn functions, domains and ranges. I am quite sure this article can enliven the lesson.

A Beautiful Proof

An Extra nCr Formula

I accidentally obtain this formula when I made a change in one question from x + y + z = 8 to x + y + z < 9 where x, y and z are integers. For details read the proof.

Radius of the Earth

How to Estimate the Radius of the Earth?

When I teach the concepts of radian as another way to measure angles I always tell my students about how the ancient mathematicians estimate the radius of the earth.

1 Newton and 1 Radian - Concept Similarity

1 Newton and 1 Radian

It is not easy to teach every lesson well. This very first lesson is one of my favorite. I hope it provides additional explanation for teachers and students on Newton as a unit for measuring force and radian for measuring angles.
